Gospel Medley ft. Nexus Choir (live recording)

Today I have a little gospel medley for you! It has been almost 2 years since I have graduated from Nexus Institute of Creative Arts. Editing and rewatching this video made me relive a lot of the great memories from when I was still studying. I cannot tell you everyone enough how incredibly blessed I was to have been growing in such great environment. Every single experience was and still is super precious to me. This is thanks to ALL the incredible staff and everyone involved at Nexus. There is no doubt that I have been transformed in this place. Thank you ❤️ FUN FACT It’s funny to think how I almost didn’t do this recording but I am happy I did because it led to so much incredible opportunities. ⁣ I remember being in Switzerland the week before to play a few dates to promote my friends new album. ⁣The day of the recording was also the same day I would arrive back in Birmingham. ⁣I told this to Matt Cossey (project leader for this recording) and he said that this would’ve been too risky because of potential delays. ⁣ ⁣ So I discussed this with my man Ethan Downey (bassist in the video) who was playing with me in Switzerland. We both agreed that we really wanted to do this. ⁣We checked our itinerary and saw that we were completely free the day before. We then found a super cheap flight back (THANK YOU LORD🙏).⁣ ⁣ We proposed this to both sides and they agreed.
