Best Ever Eggless Orange Cake | No Cream No Frosting Easy Spongy Cake Recipe
Ingredients
Size Of Baking tray- 12"× 8"
weight of cake- 800g approx
Measuring cups
1 cup- 240ml
1/2 cup- 120ml
1/4 cup- 60ml
Kinnow Orange - 4
All purpose flour- 2 cup
Sugar powder- 1+ 3/4 cup
Oil- 1/2 cup
Milk powder- 1/2 cup
Baking powder- 2 tsp
Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp
Water- 1/4 cup
For Syrup 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water
Process
~First make candied oranges.
~Slice an orange into 8-10 thin slices and remove seeds.
~Heat Sugar and water and cook till sugar dissolves.
~When syrup ines to a boil add orange slices and cook on medium flame.
~When syrup turns thick, switch the flame off and let the orange slices cool down.
~When orange slices cool down, arrange them in a baking tray lined with baking paper.
~Now to make cake batter, fry sift the dry ingredients together. (Maida, milk powder, baking powder and baking soda)
~Now grate and orange to make 2 tsp orange zest.
~Take out juices of 3 oranges that is approx 3/4 cup.
~Take oil, sugar powder, vanilla essence, orange juice, salt in a bowl and beat for 1-2 minutes.
~Add dry ingredients in 2 batches and make smooth batter.
~Add 1/4 cup water to adjust consistency and make perfect batter.
~Pour batter in the prepared baking tray.
~Spread batter evenly in the tray and tap few times to remove air bubbles.
~Now bake the cake in preheated OTG which is preheated for 10 minutes on 180° C.
~Bake cake for 25 minutes on 180°C.
~After 25 minutes remove the cake and let it cool down.
~Demould the cake, cut into slices and serve.
