Gregory Rhoden is the Assistant Director of Education for the Advanced Aircraft Systems program (avionics, electricity, etc.) at our campus in Clearwater, Florida! From 22 years serving in the U.S. Army to National Aviation Academy, his passion for aviation maintenance shows in everything he does. His love of aviation began at a young age, where he was captivated by the Bell AH-1 Cobra, an attack helicopter utilized in the Vietnam War. As it turns out, he was lucky enough to pilot the Cobra while serving in the United States Army! Eventually, Gregory made his way into the maintenance side of aviation while serving, and after retiring, joined National Aviation Academy in Tampa Bay to earn his Airframe and Powerplant certifications. But Mr. Rhoden wasn't done with NAA. Soon, he was asked to become an instructor at the same campus he recently graduated from. Since then, he has climbed the ranks to now become the Assistant Director of Education of our Advanced Aircraft Systems program!
