Autocar ACX - Heil Half/Pack Freedom Front Load Garbage Truck

This year is my 10th year here on YouTube, and yet somehow I've still never posted a full-length video of commercial collection right here in my hometown! Well today that changes! Here is one of two Autocar Xpeditor ACX's with Heil Half/Pack Freedom front load bodies that currently operate out of the Kennewick yard, replacing the last two Freightliner Condor McNeilus Pacific front loaders. This particular truck handles commercial garbage for East Kennewick, the town of Finley, and the rural areas to the south and east of Kennewick. This video starts off out with some restaurants and hotels on Clover Island on the Columbia River, followed by some high-rise apartments in downtown Kennewick, a church and convenience store on the east side of town, and concludes with a series of 2-yard containers in some Section 8 housing on the way to the transfer station! This was filmed over the course of three filming trips between January and June of this year. In fact, some of the shots were filmed during this truck's very first day in service! The rest of Kennewick's commercial fleet consists of this truck's identical twin, a Peterbilt 320 with a McNeilus Meridian body, and an Autocar Xpeditor WX64 with a McNeilus Pacific Series body as the daily runners. The two spare front loaders are a Freightliner Condor with a McNeilus Pacific Series body and a Freightliner Condor with a Wittke Starlight body!
