@markheefner82453 years ago I graduated in 92. I am still baffled when i hear music from that era on " classic rock" radio. It' s like " this isn' t classic rock, that' s stuff from the 70' s or older"

@sarelreynolds73423 years ago The coil split humbucker using a 3 way blade switch should have the same or similar wiring as a music man stingray bass minus the preamp of course. So you have series, parallel and split on the different positions.

    trivium - in waves
lots of modern metal variety on one album and one of their first commercial successes.

@thejeffersonlee3 years ago My favorite album is probably temple of the dog' s, or belle & the life pursuit. Totally disparate styles, totally ignoring my personal faves of dave matthews and dave grohl (i' m with you, leslie! Pearl jam would have been nothing without totd, chris cornell is the rock vocal goat, obvious credit there. But that belle & sebastian album only slightly beats out their previous album, " dear catastropheand the shins " chutes too narrow" and " oh, inverted world" belle & sebastian is a literal time warp to the 60s and 70s with the cutting, poignant, slice of life lyrics that take it to a new level. But their arranging is above and beyond what anybody else does. So many layers to listen to, a new thing heard and learned with every listening. Admittedly, " dear catastrophe waitress" is more involved with the arranging, but " the life pursuit" is a better cover-to-cover album. It' s thematic, comes full circle, and explores everything in the precise way aalbum should. No lulls, nothing thrown in because there was nowhere else to put it. Every song has its place, and they are all perfectly placed. ...Expand

@vorpalblades3 years ago Favorite rig, if i still played out would definitely be a multi fx into a powered cab. No need for anything else. No one else cares about that shit besides otherwise i prefer high powered solid state amps. Tubes are alright, but they never sound exactly the same over time. I' ve pared it down to a crate gx212 combo with ev' s and a pignose 150 crossmix. Too many axes to list. ...Expand
