I remember the exhilarating moment when I first delved into programming the Elektron Syntakt to control the Analog Heat +FX unit. It was a journey that allowed me to shape and sculpt my sounds with precision, adding layers of warmth and character, as well as glitchy elements and reverb. The real magic, however, came when I embraced the power of sequencing my modular synthesizer with the Syntakt using probability and randomness. The unpredictable nature of these elements breathed life into my compositions, injecting moments of surprise and spontaneity. Yet, amidst the beautiful chaos, I maintained a firm grip on the reins, carefully fine-tuning the patch and composition to ensure a harmonious balance.
