    @legojenn3 years ago I' m loving your videos. It' s in large part because there' s an idle van in my driveway and i' m months away from using it for travelling. one thing that i would mention about a raised bed is that it also serves as a place to sit indoors. The front seats of the van are probably not always practical if you want some privacy or just do some work like planning, reading, wriiting, food preparation, hobbies, evading insects or human pests etc.
    one thing i' m torn about is food inside the van. I' m tempted to take a 4x4 utility trailer and build out a galley kitchen like you find in teardrop trailers and carry low-value bulky stuff in the non-galley part. It would allow me to van camp or use my car to tent camp and have a full kitchen. Longer trips are going to permit me to go further north into northern ontario and quebec and that means heading into bear country. I don' t want to encounter a hungry mama bear, but i' d rather her trash a plywood box than the vehicle and those of us inside it
