Kusbaz is a term that indicates a person who has extreme interest in birds. Traditionally, Kusbaz were employed in the Ottoman palaces to train fancy birds, pigeons, or wild birds for communication. Obviously, this was before the advencement of technology and the invention of smart phones. Nowadays, we do not need to train birds to send our lover a lovey dovey message, or warn our allies of an upcoming war. But the tradition of Kusbaz (bird fanciers) is still living perhaps because bird fans are still around. We met and had a chat with one of these bird fans in Turkey. He owns thousands of birds and some of which cost as expensive as a house! Keep on watching the video to find out more on how the tradition of Kusbaz (bird fancier) has been going on for centuries in Turkey and why you should absolutely experience it at least once in your lifetime!
