Dal vade ing Channadal 1 cup Urad dal 1 cup Green chillies 12 Red chilles 6 Ginger 2 inch Curry leaves 4 tbsp Hing 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp or per taste Dhaniya1 tsp ghee 2 tsp Oil for deep frying Method Wash Dal's 3 times and soak for 2 hours.Grindchilles ,Ginger,Hing ,salt , dhaniya and curry leaves. Add Dal's without water and grind to a coarse paste,add ghee and mix.Make vadas and deep fry in oil. Wheat appam ing. Wheat flour 1 cup Jaggery 1 cup Grated coconut 1 cup Ripe banana 3 pinch of salt Ghee 1 tbs Cardomom powder 1/2 tsp oil for deep frying Method Grind grated coconut,banana,salt and elaichi. Add jaggery and grind to a paste. Add wheat flour,ghee and mix. Make small bondas .Deep fry on medium flame . Channadal Payasam ing Channadal 1 cup jower,sabakki 3 tbsp Grated coconut 1 cup Jaggery 1 cup Cardamom powder 1 tsp pinch of salt Cashews Ghee 2 tsp Method Wash c.dal and sabakki and add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 4 whistles. Extract coconut milk 3 time adding 1/2 cup water and keep them separately. Add jaggery to 3 Rd extract and bring it to boil.Strain the syrup .Add the syrup to cooked dal and let it boil for 10 min .Add 2 nd milk and let it boil for few minb.Add fried cashews ,Cardomom powder and first milk. When it starts boiling switch off the stove.
